Exploring Caribbean Beaches

Journey through Bahamas

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

To be honest, I would not likely go back to the Bahamas. I think the beaches were beautiful but not as nice as I have seen. Service was not the greatest and the pace was a bit TOOOOO slow, even for me on vacation. If you like casinos and beaches, I would recommend Puerto Rico instead. If you want amazing beaches and do not care about lots of activity, go to Turks and Caicos. And, when in doubt, if you want to choose whether to be completely sedentary or active then Cancun, Mexico, is always a safe and enjoyable bet.

The privilege of being uncomfortable

It’s easy to remain ensconced in environments where our views are never challenged, and our way of life is never questioned. But growth, understanding, and inclusivity come from experiencing the unfamiliar, from recognizing and respecting the diversity of the world around us.

911 Memorial - Remembering 15 years later

The memories remain. And the triggers exist.

People ask whether I still think about September 11th. The memories remain. And the triggers exist. And so occasionally I will write about it. I will always think of those who lost their lives simply because they went to work. I will always be grateful to those who lost their lives actively running toward the danger. And I thank God for pulling me through and helping guide my path that day and every day.
